First of all....a round of applause for this update

jk. This meeting actually took place in end of May... so I'm on a few months behind..wheee! We met up at Vancouver Vietnamese Restaurant ...yes, that really is the name! It's located on 4136 Main Street (cross street is King Ed). I forgot to take a picture of the outside..sorry! I do, however, have pictures of yummy food... who cares what the outside looks like
When we stepped in, we were greeted by an overly friendly guy. He greeted everyone with 'hellloooo my friend!!'. He was very accommodating and had a great sense of humor! Some people found him creepy though...hehe! Creepy but attentive...so that's still good! We were just not used to this kinda service in a pho restaurant

The inside was clean looking and had many big tables and some booths. They had interesting decorations...such as flower in beer bottles

Minipho made these cute little chopstick holders to prepare us for the pho yummy crepes!
The pho was a bit cheaper than most places, but unfortunately, it was also smaller than most places

They had very little noodles...though whatever was there tasted pretty good. The broth was a bit on the salty side and very oniony and peppery. We gave it a
6.5. The service was very good but the pho just did not measure up. Most people left the restaurant still hungry! Here's a picture of us with our new friend. I will attempt to update the June meeting 'soon'
